Return Policy – Old School

1. General Information

Due to the nature of the products sold (in particular: cakes, tortes, ice cream, desserts, nut creams, confectionery, and other food products), some of them are not returnable in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act.

2. No right of withdrawal for food products

Pursuant to Article 38 of the Consumer Rights Act, the Consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the contract in the following cases: This

• perishable food products, such as:
  • • cakes and pies,
  • • confectionery desserts,
  • • ice cream, sorbets, and frozen products,
  • • other products requiring refrigerated storage.

• food products delivered in sealed packaging which cannot be returned after opening for hygiene reasons, in particular:

• nut creams after opening,

• other hermetically sealed products.

• products prepared to individual order, including:

• custom-made cakes and pies,

• sets prepared according to customer specifications,

• personalized products.

means that most fresh and food products sold cannot be returned after they have been received by the Customer.

3. Products that can be returned

Only products that meet all of the following conditions may be returned:

• these are durable products with a long shelf life,

• have not been opened or damaged,

• do not require refrigeration,

• are not personalized or freshly prepared.

Examples of products eligible for return (if available):

• unopened nut butters,

• non-perishable products, gadgets, non-food accessories.

4. Contract withdrawal period (for products eligible for return)

If the product is eligible for return:

• The consumer has 14 days to withdraw from the contract from the moment of receiving the goods.

• Once the Seller has accepted the return, the Customer will receive instructions on how to return the goods.

The seller will refund the money within 14 days of receiving the product and verifying it.

5. Rules for returning goods

To return a product, you must:

• Report the return by email (see point 4).

• Return the product to the following address: Stara Szkoła sp. z o.o., ul. Placu Kilińskiego 6, 16-100 Sokółka

• The returned product must be:

• unopened,

• complete,

• in its original packaging,

• without signs of use.

• The cost of returning the product is borne by the Customer.

6. Complaints about products that are damaged or do not comply with the order

If the product:

• arrived damaged,

• does not comply with the order,

• has a quality defect,

The customer may file a complaint. The complaint should be sent to adres:kontakt@staraszkola.comZalecamy, attaching:

• order number,

• brief description of the problem,

• photos confirming the defect or damage.

The seller will consider the complaint as soon as possible and propose a solution, such as:

• product replacement,

• refund,

• other reasonable forms of compensation.

7. Responsibility for storing

Food products require proper storage conditions, especially:

• cakes and confectionery – refrigerated,

• ice cream – transport in frozen conditions.

The seller is not responsible for:

• deterioration of product quality resulting from improper storage on the part of the Customer,

• late collection of the shipment (e.g., leaving it in a parcel locker longer than recommended),

• damage resulting from improper transport by the Customer.

8. Summary

Returns apply only to unopened, non-perishable non-food products or food products with a long shelf life.
