Marcinek is a cake with a rich tradition, originating in the heart of Podlasie, which has been enjoyed at family celebrations for generations. At Stara Szkoła, we combine the classic recipe with modern confectionery techniques to achieve an amazing effect – delicate, thin layers of cake layered with cream. Thanks to our special rolling machine, we are able to obtain as many as 18 thin layers on each Marcinek, which makes it exceptionally light and fluffy, yet filling.

We prepare our cake from the highest quality ingredients: fresh cream, butter, honey and thin, perfectly rolled layers of dough.
